Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced to commence the Interbank Account Data Sharing (“IADS”) programme in January 2024. This programme has established the rules and standards facilitating interbank customer-consented data sharing, covering retail, corporate and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customer segments. With the IADS programme, we have launched JETCO IADS Proxy Service, which is to technically enable banks as the data consuming banks. The service can facilitate banks to connect with multiple data providing banks through the single connections with JETCO. It minimizes banks’ technical implementation effort and is hassle-free for banks about the ongoing technical requirements by the regulator and/or the data providing banks.
