Senior Credit Risk Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Formulate credit policies and procedures and develop product programs in adherence with regulatory requirements to support new business / product developments
  • Perform portfolio analyses and credit performance forecasts to identify potential risks and recommend risk mitigation and prevention measures
  • Manage the credit risk cycle including acquisition, portfolio management, collection strategies and credit system
  • Formulate recovery strategy to maximize recovery and initiate remedial or recovery actions against non-performing customers
  • Support marketing program launches through effective management of program risks and profitability
  • Develop, implement and monitor the use of application and behavioral scorecards and other risk management tools
  • Liaise and negotiate with relevant external and internal parties for due diligence, risk rating and portfolio and credit review
  • Review and formulate policies to keep abreast of regulatory requirements and reflect changes in risk and competitive dynamics in the SME markets

QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Information System or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience from banking and financial industry in credit control and risk management of SME accounts
  • Intensive exposure to unsecured lending business in SME markets
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, market trends and industry practices on credit risk management
  • Strong business acumen with good initiative and resilience
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight schedule
  • A good team player with good communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders for win-win solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
