JOB TITLE

Manager / Senior Manager, System Development

Department: Information Technology


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for ATM switching systems, both online and batch processing
  • Responsible for ATM switching related systems, including settlement, simulator, data warehousing, etc.
  • Lead systems the design of application system solutions to meet business needs
  • Lead and manage internal development resources and software vendors to deliver the application software solutions with good quality
  • Lead and manage the ongoing support and maintenance of application system solutions to ensure system stability and reliability
  • Review, approve and govern software development standards and guidelines of the company, and ensure that software development team is complying with these standards and guidelines
  • Manage system integrations and common service application development
  • Streamline and provide SDLC standards, processes and procedures
  • Streamline the software development process so as to reduce the cost and timeframe of development
  • Act as a technical focal point to member banks, card associations, and other external parties on new initiatives and ongoing support works
  • Support CIO to develop the future roadmap of system architecture
  • Coach and develop subordinates to acquire new technical skills

QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree in relevant IT discipline
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in banking IT application system development, including at least 5 years’ experience in leading system development team
  • 5 years or above hands-on experience on IBM mainframe system development environment
  • Experience in the development and support of ATM systems required
  • Experience in open-source technologies (e.g. Linux, Tomcat, etc.) a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of system development life cycle
  • Good team management skills to lead and motivate staff
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills to work with all levels internally and external parties
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
