Vice President

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead a large IT Department with functions across software development, infrastructure/network, security operations, quality assurance and project management
  • Advise management and business leaders on IT trends, solutions and operations to support new business initiatives and BAU
  • Develop technology strategies, roadmaps and systems architectures to support company’s business strategy and growth
  • Review, approve and govern the enterprise’s IT standards, policies and guidelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate business processes and operations with technology solutions for development of end to end solutions
  • Manage vendors and internal teams to deliver technology solutions
  • Lead system integrations and common services development for platform services
  • Streamline and enhance SDLC standards, processes and procedures
  • Ensure appropriate measures are in place to manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure IT policies and plans are in line with relevant regulatory requirements and changes
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with external business and technology partners

 


Qualifications
  • University degree or above in relevant discipline
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in IT management role with sizeable organizations or FinTech companies with a broad understanding of applications and infrastructure technology
  • Exposure in AI, blockchain, cloud computing, data analytics and open API would be an advantage
  • Good understanding of FinTech required and experience in developing innovative digital solutions, eco-systems and/or platform preferred
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle in both agile and traditional approaches as well as different methodologies to drive efficient IT processes
  • Strong people management with excellent technical and business problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen with critical thinking in broad strategic terms for technology and business
  • Ability to gain alignment technology with business strategy
  • Ability to engage and influence external and internal stakeholders in a tactful manner
  • Ability to communicate and present abstract ideas and work at detailed level
  • Ability to manage projects in a multitasking environment with rapidly changing priorities under tight deadlines
