Department: Risk and Compliance

  • Lead the team to oversee and coordinate the daily operation of the operational risk management and compliance function
  • Ensure appropriate standards, policies and procedures are developed and that JETCO consistently adheres to them
  • Perform annual compliance review on business activities and services
  • Ensure new JETCO products and services are risk assessed and managed on regular basis and compliant with regulations and applicable industry code prior to launch
  • Act as a Data Protection officer to establish and implement programme controls and advocate personal data protection within the organisation
  • A primary contact point to the HKMA under the Retail Payment System (RPS) regime
  • Keep abreast of the current development of relevant laws, rules, regulations and requirements in HK and overseas (if applicable), Supervisory Policy Manuals and Code of Practices that my affect JETCO business
  • Establish and implement data protection programme to meet the regulatory requirement
  • Assist the management team to identify, assess and manage the broad spectrum of risks to which JETCO is subject
  • Oversee and monitor the risks to protect JETCO’s exposure to risks associated with the business
  • Organize and conduct the staff education and training to promote sense of regulatory compliance
  • Lead Committees in relation to Risk Management and Business Continuity Management
  • Update and maintain the risk register on regular basis
  • Conduct compliance monitoring on regular basis
  • Provide management information report pack
  • Handling third party risk management process and third party assessment request

  • University graduate in Risk Management, Information Technology, Law or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance and control management, preferably, in financial institutions
  • Understanding of banking business and technology environment, application and process
  • Good understanding of financial technology and its related risk management, regulatory compliance and security (including cybersecurity)
  • Hold professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC or equivalent
  • Mature, independent, good interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
